Refund and Cancellation Policy

2. General Provisions
All products and services purchased on marinabelous.com are subject to a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with the Republic of Turkey’s Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Sales. However, pursuant to Article 15/ğ of the Regulation, for services scheduled for a specific date or period (e.g., events, workshops, training sessions), the right of withdrawal may only be exercised before the commencement of the service; once the service has begun, it no longer applies.
The terms of refund and cancellation are primarily stated on the sales page of the relevant product or service and take precedence over this Policy. These terms are supplemented by the provisions of the Distance Sales Agreement (Clauses 5.1, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5). The customer confirms acceptance of these terms prior to purchase (e.g., by checking the relevant box on marinabelous.com).
This policy sets out in detail the right of withdrawal, cancellation, and refund conditions. For more detailed information on your rights, please refer to the Distance Sales Agreement. Any updates to this policy will be published on marinabelous.com, and significant changes will be communicated to customers via email.
3. Refund of Digital Products (Online Courses, Documents)
14-Day Right of Withdrawal: If you have not started using the purchased digital product (such as video lessons, documents, etc.), you may request a full refund within 14 days.
Loss of the Right of Withdrawal: The right of withdrawal is lost if all of the following conditions are met:
1. The product was delivered immediately after the order.
2. Before delivery, you ticked the checkbox stating: "I understand that by starting to use this digital content, I will lose my 14-day right of withdrawal."
3. The seller has recorded this consent in electronic form.
4. You have started using the content (for example, downloaded it, watched it, or used more than 10% of the content).
Refund Process: Upon receipt of a written withdrawal notice (via email to info@marinabelous.com), the refund will be processed using the same payment method as the original transaction within 14 days.
4. Cancellation and Refund for Scheduled Services (Individual Sessions, Workshops, Events)For scheduled services (individual sessions, workshops, events) with a fixed date, the right of withdrawal and refund does not apply in accordance with Article 15(ğ) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, except in cases of cancellation by the Seller due to force majeure (e.g., natural disaster, illness). Refunds are processed within 14 days in Turkish Lira (₺), including 20% VAT, to the same card/account used for payment (card refunds may take an additional 10–14 business days depending on the customer’s bank). For international customers who paid in Euro (€), the amount is converted at the bank’s exchange rate at the time of the refund. The customer confirms the absence of the right to withdraw prior to purchase (e.g., by checking the relevant box on marinabelous.com).
5. Other Products/Services (Course Packages, Subscriptions)
The terms of cancellation and refund are primarily stated on the sales page of the relevant service/product and take precedence over this Policy. These terms are regulated by Clauses 5.1 and 5.3 of the Distance Sales Agreement, Law No. 6502, and the Regulation on Distance Sales. The customer confirms acceptance of these terms prior to purchase (e.g., by checking the relevant box on marinabelous.com).
6. How to Request a Refund
1. Send an email to info@marinabelous.com.
2. Include your full name, order number (if applicable), the name of the product/service for which you are requesting a refund or cancellation, and proof of payment (for example, a receipt).
3. If the request is submitted within the withdrawal period, the refund will be processed within 14 days to the same card/account used for the original payment.
7. Non-Refundable Cases
No refunds will be issued in the following situations:
1. If digital content (such as video lessons, documents, or other materials) has been delivered to the customer and its use has begun - for example, it has been downloaded, viewed, or more than 10% of the content has been consumed - and at the time of purchase the customer confirmed their consent to the condition: “I understand that by starting to use this digital content, I will lose my 14-day right of withdrawal” (see Clause 3).
2. If a scheduled service (session, event, or workshop) is canceled by the customer less than 24 hours before it is due to start, or if the customer fails to attend (“No-Show”) (see Clause 4).
3. If the customer requests a withdrawal and refund after the service has been fully provided or its delivery has commenced.
4. If the product or service sales page clearly states “Non-refundable,” and the customer confirmed this at the time of purchase by checking the corresponding box.
8. Personal Data (KVKK)
Personal data provided by the client during a refund or cancellation request is used solely for processing that request in accordance with the KVKK Clarification Text and Privacy Policy. Data is retained for the periods required by the legislation of the Republic of Turkey and deleted or anonymized thereafter, unless otherwise required for tax or other legal obligations.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or related to this policy shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Consumer Arbitration Committees and the Consumer Courts located in Istanbul.
10. Entry into Force and Amendments
This Refund and Cancellation Policy enters into force on the date it is published on the marinabelous.com website.
In the event of any amendments, the updated version will be published on the website, and customers will be notified of any significant changes via email. The current version of this Policy is always available on our website.
